About Jungle Lagoon
The Jungle Lagoon Safari Lodge is located in the best part of Sauraha, away from the hustle and bustle of other lodges, restaurants, bars, shops etc. It is ideal for bird watchers with plenty of treks within the compound and the Rapti River is on the back of the property. It has been reported that grassland on the other side of the Rapti River is a breeding area for wild Rhinos.
Jungle Lagoon Safari Lodge will accommodate you in individual cottages with open veranda. All the rooms are well furnished with attached bathrooms running hot & cold water. The dining hall & bar is centrally located. Our restaurant offers Nepalese, Chinese, Indian and Continental cuisine prepared by our trained cooks. All our vegetables are well shocked in iodine. A well stocked bar is also available to our guests.
The big open garden full of colorful flowers is just outside your bedroom.
Just outside the gate there is a big ground for a variety of athletic activities. It has become the home to the annual elephant race since 2004.
